First Impressions: Smef is an orange felt muppet. He is often conveniently behind something waist high. Sticks "move" his hands, arms dangling underneath. He wears clothing that looks like a child's. Button down shirts, pants and sneakers. His voice is sleepy, as are his eyes.
Age: ageless
Pronouns: Smef will self refer with He/him. He would not care if anyone used It/Its, or They/Them, as these are not inaccurate, if impersonal.
Physical Stature: About 2'-0" (61cm), Appearing as though made of foam and felt.
Hair and Eyes: Blue hair and eyes.
Sometimes, Smef appears as a mundane animal. A crow, black cat, scorpion, cobra, or hyena are common choices.
Permissions
Sex and violence are fine.
I'm fine with sexy stuff. Smef won't be able to return your affections during the day, but with his ability to craft any dream and share it... well, there are options.

Abilities
Smef is a creature from the Astral plane. He is a spirit from the deep metaplane of Dream.
As such, he can fly, and pass through inanimate objects.
He can see emotions, and magical energy.
He must make effort to be seen, or tangible on the physical plane.
Smef possesses the power of The Pact of Friendship. In order for Smef to remain in the physical world he must form a formalized bond with people. His power is limited by the number of friends he has made a pact with. In addition, the pact allows his friends to heal their bodies at the cost of a little bit of their future good fortune.
Cletus Skeeterman, Megaton to some, is one such friend.

- Smef remembers Shapeshift , a spell that allows him to take the form of small to medium sized mundane animals. A crow, black cat, scorpion, cobra, or hyena are common choices.

- Cleetus and he are Friends, due to the Pact of Friendship but can't remember why Cleetus's temper scares and saddens him.

- entertaining children by becoming a pig and playing in mud, but can't remember why it makes him sad.
